Sinkbag - 3D Product Animation

A cinematic 3D product explainer bringing the Sinkbag to life with clean, modern visuals highlighting its space-saving design, smart drainage system, and everyday practicality through sleek animation, detailed material rendering, and contemporary kitchen storytelling.

Overview:

For this project, our goal was to elevate a practical kitchen accessory Sinkbag, a compact hanging pouch for everyday cleaning tools through high-quality 3D product animation and visualization. Instead of simply showing the product, we created a polished visual narrative that highlights its functionality, design intent, and real-life usability in modern kitchens.

The Challenge 

The objective was not just to explain Sinkbag, but to visually communicate:

  • How it organizes sponges, scrubbers, and dish soap

  • How the ventilated design prevents moisture buildup

  • How it fits seamlessly on different sink and faucet types

  • How it blends into contemporary kitchen spaces

The challenge was to balance functional clarity with aesthetic appeal, ensuring the animation looks premium while remaining relatable and practical.

Process & Design Approach 

1. 3D Modeling & Look Development
We created a detailed 3D model accurately representing Sinkbag’s form, dimensions, and material softness. Textures, silicone finish, and color breakup were built to look realistic in various lighting conditions.

2. Animation & Function Demonstration
We animated:

  • The hanging/placement process

  • Water drainage using physics-inspired fluid simulation

  • The way sponges and tools fit snugly inside

  • Airflow visualizations to reinforce hygiene benefits


3. Lighting, Rendering & Compositing
A clean, bright kitchen set was designed to complement the product.
We used physically based lighting to reflect a premium look and rendered multiple passes for complete control in compositing.

The Solution 

The final deliverable was a cinematic 3D explainer video that brings the Sinkbag to life. Through clean, modern visual storytelling, the video showcases how the Sinkbag:

• Organizes everyday cleaning tools neatly
• Keeps countertops free by hanging on the sink or faucet
• Promotes hygiene with a ventilated, quick-drain design
• Blends seamlessly into any kitchen with its minimal, contemporary aesthetic

Deliverables included the full product video, looped feature animations, high-resolution still renders, and marketing-ready 3D assets for promotional use.
